Two lifers for me in the shape of a stonking Isabelline Shrike (Daurian form) in Gosport, Hants. It showed well at times but was always distant hence the poor records shots. A very nice bird to kick the day off with. Then got news from Matt that Dave Cooper had found an Ortolan Bunting at Beachy Head. A mad dash back resulted in a 3-hour search which eventually paid off with brief views of it on the ground and in a tree but no chance of any photos as it was so elusive.
