Spring at Southwater Country Park

Common Frog - Rana temporaria

First signs of spring arriving at the Country Park today with Song Thrush in full song, as to were Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Bullfinch and Long-tailed Tits seen carrying feathers. Whilst walking past the recently cleared stream I noticed a disturbance in the water. On closer inspection it was 4 Common Frogs with two bundles of spawn.
