Southwater Country Park Moths

Early Thorn - Selenia dentaria
Shoulder Stripe - Anticlea badiata
Chestnut - Conistra vaccinii

A few more moths starting to appear around the lights at the visitors centre now. A new species for the reserve was a single Alceris hastiana. A very pretty micro-moth which escaped without having its photo taken!

Other macro moths have included Chestnut, Shoulder Stripe, Dotted Border, March Moth, Early Thorn, Small and Common Quaker and Satellite.
