Herring Gull Ring!

The opportunity arose to have a look for rings at Warnham today as the Mill Pond had frozen over and a good number of Common, Black-headed and Herring Gulls had collected on the ice. There were many birds with metal rings on, all sadly too far away to read and a few with colour rings. Unfortunately I was able to read only one Herring Gull colour ring due to poor light conditions. It was ringed at Stoke Orchard Landfill, Gloucs as a 7 on 26/3/05, then seen in Hove, Sussex on 5/6/07, Beddington SF, London on 17/10/08
