Arlington Reservoir

Popped in for a couple of hours on the way home from Rye. Plenty of Swifts still present, several House Martins and Swallows still hawking the water. Found another Moorhen nest with 2 chicks this time much younger than the other nest. Also located a pair of Kestrels this afternoon which is the first time I am aware of their breeding on the reserve. 2 Common Sandpipers still along the dam wall but no sign/sound of the Cetti's today. The Great Crested Grebe chicks are rapidly losing their stripes!

Marsh Frogs still calling from the pond to the south of the reservoir.
