New Flowers

On the way home from work stopped in to have a look at a south-facing slope to see what flowers were in bloom. Managed to find plenty of Cuckoo Flower (Cardamine pratensis) on the roadside.

Then went on to another site thanks to a top off from a friend which produced my first Stinking Hellebore (Helleborus foetidus) which is part of the Buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). See the pictures above. Also Summer Snowflakes, Common Dog Violet, Barren Strawberry and both red and yellow forms of Primrose.
