A fantastic day out in West Sussex, started off at Widewater Lagoon where the two female Scaup showed well. Then on to Burpham where a single Bewick Swan was on the flooded meadows. This picture was it scalding a Kestrel overhead! Then on to Barnham and finally caught up with the 5 adult Whooper Swans and also 6 Roe Deer. Then last stop was Thorney Island where 3 Short-eared Owls showed well before a deluge made me run for the car! SOAKED!
