Arlington Reservoir

As much of the grassland below the reservoir has now turned into a bog I decided to walk across it to see if there was anything hiding away. It look perfect and it proved to be with 3 Common Snipe and a single Jack Snipe flushing from the boggy scrapes. That incredibly takes me to 20 species of wader at the res this year! Also 3 Goosander on the res...all drakes! The drake Goldeneye was also still present.
