American Bittern - Walmsley Sanctuary, Cornwall

Left work at 5.30pm on Weds and drove straight to Cornwall from work. Slept in a layby and saw the Bittern at bout 8.35am on the Thurs. Stonking bird saw it well though distant the entire time I had my camera ready, packed it away and bingo...it ran about 70yds right past the hide!
