Arlington Reservoir

Spotted Flycatcher
Little Stint (juv)

A few hours spent around the reservoir after ringing in the hollow produced a few decent birds. New in from yesterday were: 1 Little Stint (juv), 2 Grey Plover, 2 Dunlin, 1 Ringed Plover all on the exposed mud by the pumping station. A Little Grebe was in front of the Fishing Lodge and 4 Lapwing were still around feeding in front of the hide.
A Spotted Flycatcher showed well in the north-west corner of the cow field at the east end of the dam. Also a single a Redstart in the Poplar Plantation beneath the dam wall at west end. Excuse the poor record shots, they were taken with my phone! Also 1 Large White, 3 Red Admiral, 1 Speckled Wood and a Small Copper.
