Migrant Hawker - Aeshna mixta

A good walk around the reserve today produced a number of good sightings. The best of the birds were as follows: 3 Redstart, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 10+ Chiffchaff, 1 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Ringed Plover, 7 Common Sandpiper, 150+ Swallow, 10+ Sand Martin, 1 Little Egret and a single Blackcap.

Also noted were: 10+ Migrant Hawker, 1 Common Darter, 2 Large White and a Meadow Brown.
