Another good day at the Fruit Farm with a suprisingly cold south-westerly blowing, it started off flat calm but by 12pm a steady wind forced a early end. A total of 61 new birds ringed which were;
1 Song Thrush
7 Long-tailed Tit
2 Blue Tit
1 Great Tit
Interesting re-traps were another Green Woodpecker, a Song Thrush and 2 three-year old Goldfinches. Also a British control in the form of a Blackbird. It will be interesting to see where it has come from.
