European Wall Lizards


A visit to a site in West Sussex produced several views of the colony of European Wall Lizards (Podarcis muralis). Although due to a chilly wind they were pretty nervous and not showing particularly well for photographs. Lovely little reptiles.

    Do you know how long the colony has been present for?

    Here in London we have a colony of Aesculapian snakes- beautiful creatures.
